What file format do you need for custom shirt printing?
Send a PNG, JPG or SVG. A PNG with a transparent background is the easiest thing for us to work with, and an SVG is best of all for logos because it scales to any size without going soft. The format matters less than the resolution: the file needs enough pixels to still look sharp at the size you're printing it.
What to send
- SVG — ideal for logos and anything vector. It scales to any size with no quality loss at all
- PNG — the safe default, especially with a transparent background
- JPG — fine for photographs. It can't hold transparency, so the background gets removed for you
Resolution is what actually matters
A chest print is roughly 11 to 12 inches wide. For that to look sharp, the file needs to be a few thousand pixels across — not a few hundred. A logo pulled off a website is usually sized for a screen, which is a fraction of what a garment needs.
If you have the original file from whoever designed your logo, use that one. It's almost always dramatically better than the copy that's been through a website, a chat app, or a screenshot.

If you don't have a usable file
Send us what you do have. A photo of an old shirt, a business card, a rough sketch — we'll tell you honestly whether it's workable and what it would take to get it print-ready, rather than printing something soft and hoping you don't notice.
