Embroidery
Stitched, textured logo — a premium finish. No hard order minimum — a one-time digitizing fee applies on orders under 12 pieces (waived at 12+), and it covers a design up to 5,000 stitches. Priced by stitch count — how much thread your design actually needs, so a dense filled logo costs more than open lettering the same size. Place your art and the price updates live, no size to pick. Optional 3D Puff: +$5/pc, hats only — the foam backing needs a structured cap underneath it to hold its shape, so we can't offer it on tees, hoodies, or other soft goods. It only works on bold, blocky shapes: thin lines, script or narrow/condensed fonts, and small text can't be puffed at all — those areas won't raise properly or will look patchy, so keep any lettering you want puffed bold and block-style, or leave it as flat embroidery instead. Works best for clean shapes, bold text, and simple logos. We stitch from a fixed palette of 15 thread colors — that's a hard limit, not a style tip, so we'll match your design to the closest color in that set, and designs needing more than 15 distinct colors can't be embroidered as submitted. Thread can't blend into a gradient or capture fine photographic detail the way DTF/DTG can, and lettering under about a quarter-inch tends to lose its shape once stitched. Stitching also pierces the fabric — if the item is genuinely waterproof (some jackets, for instance), expect those needle holes to affect water resistance right where the design sits, which isn't something we can prevent.
DTF Transfer
Full-color, photo-realistic art, no minimum. Priced by design size, up to 15″×17″. Available on hats as well as garments. New transfers have a firmer, stiffer feel right off the press and loosen up after a handful of washes. Turn the garment inside out and skip the high heat when washing or drying — that's the main thing that keeps a transfer from cracking over time.
DTG Print
Full-color, soft hand-feel, printed directly into the fabric. 100% cotton tees & hoodies only. No minimum. Priced by design size, up to 15″×17″. The ink is absorbed right into the fibers, so it shows up brightest on lighter garments and more subdued on darker ones. Washing inside out helps the print hold its color longer.
Uploading your own art vs. AI-generated images
Your own photo or logo (PNG, JPG, or SVG) almost always prints better than an AI-generated image — here's why, and what to watch for if you use one anyway.
Your own file
- Prints sharp as long as the original was reasonably high-resolution
- Clean edges — our background removal cuts it cleanly
- You already know you have the rights to use it
AI-generated image
- Usually much lower resolution than a garment needs — most AI tools default to around 1024×1024px, sharp only up to a few inches. Blown up to chest-size, it can look soft or pixelated.
- Busy or gradient backgrounds are harder to cut cleanly — can leave halos or clipped edges
- Ownership can be unclear: many AI tools don't grant full commercial rights on free plans, and AI art can unintentionally resemble copyrighted or trademarked material. You're certifying you have the right to use whatever you upload (see our Artwork Authorization Agreement) — worth double-checking before using AI art.
Getting your file print-ready
A few quick checks before you upload, so what prints matches what you see here.
Resolution
- At least 300 DPI at your design's actual print size
- Rule of thumb: width × height in inches, times 300, is your minimum pixel size
- A 4″×4″ logo needs 1200×1200px; a full back print needs up to 4500×5100px — the same footprint that sets your price
Format & edges
- PNG for anything needing a transparent background, JPG or SVG otherwise
- RGB, not CMYK — CMYK is built for print presses, not screens, and can look off here
- Keep cutouts clean — stray pixels or a soft edge can leave a faint halo on dark garments
